WCI's Model Green Home, the Geni G, is packed with green features. This home is being used as a demonstration home to encourage production of similar homes throughout the community. The home will also serve as a research tool for the Florida Solar Energy Center and the Department of Energy's Building America Program, which will monitor energy consumption at the home. WCI's commitment to green includes a Natural Resource Manager who ensures that employees and the community at large understand the importance of sustainable practices. In addition, the home will be used as a Green Building Learning Center for kids.

Geni G is located within the community of Evergrene. WCI's ultimate goal at Evergrene was to create a community where residents could reconnect with their families, their neighbors and their natural environment. All of this comes together at Club Evergrene, a 12,000-square foot clubhouse with full-service kitchen for community dinners, fitness facilities, children's play room, basketball courts, golf putting green, resort pool and lakeside sandy beach complete with volleyball courts. The club's activities director is planning on installing a nature library as well as offering a recycling program and classes like nature photography that align with the goals of the community.
