Special information

This home was designed to be sustainable as well as to fit nicely with the existing neighborhood. The sustainable features did not add any challenges to navigating the building codes established by the city of Bozeman. The homeowner spent many hours and weekends designing and building this "green" home. He relates that the process was satisfying and the project is one from which he continues to reap rewards.

The Alderson Bungalow was featured on the front page of the Community Food Co-op's, Community Food News in the August/September 2004 issue (Vol. XIII, No. 4). The house is available for tours by appointment. Interested parties may arrange a tour by calling (406) 587-0609.
